Before you read: I (Charles) drafted this guide alongside an AI assistant, then held every statement up to its source and fixed what didn't match. The five brand links below (Ourdream AI first, then Candy AI, JOI AI, Lovescape, Kupid AI) carry my affiliate tag: buy a plan through one and I may earn a cut, while your price stays the same; nobody else mentioned here pays for coverage. Adults only (18+). Everything below comes from desk research on 6 October 2026: Ourdream's help centre, its terms and refund policy, the code its website serves, and what Apple's and Google's stores list today. I did not run Ourdream on a phone for this piece, so treat it as a checked guide, not a hands-on test.
Searching "ourdream ai app" usually means you want a download button, a home-screen shortcut, a fix for a stubborn sign-in, or proof that a store listing is genuine. The short version: Ourdream AI has no official app on Google Play or in Apple's App Store. Its help centre article "Do you have an app?" (last edited 26 August 2025) says there is no standalone mobile app yet and walks you through adding the website to your home screen instead. One of Ourdream's own landing pages repeats the point, calling ourdream.ai a web app with no native iOS or Android version so far.
What the site does ship is a web manifest: the file that tells a phone to open a pinned site full-screen with its own icon and the short name "ourdream". So the "app" is simply ourdream.ai, pinned. The rest of this guide is sorted by the problem you're trying to solve, and the catches come first.
First, the catches: what to know before you tap "Install"
Store listings using the name are not Ourdream's. On Google Play's US store today, a search for "ourdream" turns up two apps carrying almost the same name. "Our Dream: AI Companion" is published by a developer listed as avagyan, shows 50K+ downloads, a 2.1-star average from 158 ratings, an "Everyone" age rating and a "Contains ads" label, and was last updated on 20 August 2026. "Our Dream AI" comes from a developer called Pptgenai, with a support address in Armenia, 1K+ downloads, ads, and an update dated 29 September 2026. Neither names Dream Studio USA, Inc., the Delaware company that Ourdream's terms identify as its operator.
Apple is no different. Apple's search tool, queried for the US, UK and Germany, returns no app from Dream Studio. An "Ourdream: AI Companion" page that still shows up in web search results now answers with a 404 on Apple's site, so it appears to have been pulled. "Ourdream Interpreter", which does show up, is a dream-journal app rated 4+ and has nothing to do with companions.
A look-alike website claims there are apps. A third-party domain, ourdream-app.com, describes "the iOS or Android app" for OurDream AI and lists system requirements. That domain is not ourdream.ai, and Ourdream's help centre contradicts it. Type the address yourself rather than following "download" buttons.
A pinned icon is still a browser tab underneath. Nothing works offline, and every login, purchase and cancellation goes through the website.
You can't cancel from your phone's subscription settings. Because nothing is sold through Apple or Google, your iPhone's Subscriptions screen and the Play Store's payments page will never show an Ourdream plan. Cancelling happens at ourdream.ai/profile.
Free use is thin on any screen. The help centre's coin guide (edited 2 March 2026) says a non-subscriber pays 1 dreamcoin per chat message and can't reach most features, and another article says images and videos need a subscription. A separate marketing page promises 55 dreamcoins at sign-up, while the help article on free coins says none are handed out. That contradiction is unresolved; expect very little without paying.
On an iPhone or iPad
Ourdream's own instructions are short. Open Safari and load ourdream.ai. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen, pick "Add to Home Screen", and confirm. A new icon appears beside your other apps and, thanks to the manifest's standalone setting, opens without Safari's address bar.
If the pinned icon opens at the login page, sign in there once. Anyone who unlocks your phone can tap it, so lock a shared phone.
Go here if you mainly chat in short bursts on the sofa or commute and want one tap instead of typing an address.
On Android
Open Chrome, go to ourdream.ai, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose "Add to Home screen" (newer Chrome builds may word it as "Install app"). Accept the prompt and the shortcut lands on your home screen or app drawer.
Ourdream publishes no APK. Any file offered under that name comes from somebody else, and side-loading it is a poor trade for a shortcut that takes ten seconds.
Go here if your phone runs Android and you want the full site, including the character builder, without hunting for a download that doesn't exist.
When you can't sign in
The login screen offers two routes: "Continue with Google" and "Continue with email". The email route relies on a verification code sent to your inbox. If the code doesn't land, Ourdream's help article (edited 6 November 2025) points to three usual causes: the message sitting in junk or caught by a filter, a typo in the address, or a short delivery delay. It suggests checking those and giving it up to an hour before contacting support.
Other fixes from Ourdream's basic troubleshooting page (edited 14 February 2026):
- Clear cache and cookies for ourdream.ai, or try a private/incognito window.
- Switch browsers, for example Chrome to Edge or Firefox.
- Turn off ad-blockers and VPNs while you log in.
- If you paid but still look like a free user, press the "sync" button next to "Active Subscription" on your profile.
That last case has its own article: card payments normally show up within 2 to 15 minutes, and crypto takes anywhere from 15 minutes to a day, depending on the blockchain. Want to switch the email on your account? You can't do it yourself; you send a request through the "Request Help" button on the profile page.
Will it text you? A feature to watch
The code ourdream.ai serves today contains a "Set up texting" option: link a phone number, confirm it with an SMS code, and a chosen character answers by ordinary text message. I couldn't see it working without an account and the help centre doesn't mention it, so treat it as possibly rolling out, not promised.
What paying looks like from a phone
Phone or laptop, prices are identical. According to the help centre (edited 17 July 2026) and the plan settings in the upgrade page's code (rechecked today):
- Premium: $19.99 per month, or $119.88 charged once a year (about $9.99 a month). Monthly buyers get 1,000 dreamcoins at the start and every month after; yearly buyers get 2,000 up front, then 1,000 a month.
- Deluxe: $59.99 per month, or $359.88 a year. The upgrade page promises extra coins, premium chat models at no coin cost, and a chat memory three times larger.
Coins are the real meter. Voice calls run 50 dreamcoins a minute, standard video 100 per five seconds, and a pair of standard images 10. Extra coins can only be bought while you're subscribed. Ourdream doesn't take PayPal; if a card is declined, its help centre suggests another card, crypto, or a code bought from the reseller G2A and redeemed on your profile.
On refunds, the refund policy (modified 9 March 2026) promises a 14-day withdrawal right to consumers in the UK, Switzerland and the EEA, says crypto payments are final, and asks you to email support@ourdream.ai before any chargeback. The help article adds that refunds stop once over a quarter of a product has been used up. Cancel, and the plan runs to the end of the paid period; after that, your pictures and clips stay blurred unless you resubscribe.

Leaving or deleting your account
Deleting is done from the "danger zone" at the bottom of ourdream.ai/profile. Per the help article (edited 3 August 2026), it takes 24 to 48 hours, ends any active plan, is permanent, and erases generations, unpublished characters, chats and leftover dreamcoins with no refund. If you might return, just cancel instead.
If Ourdream isn't the one: the other four on a phone
None of these four has an official app in Apple's US store either; open the site in your phone's browser and pin it.
Candy AI is the visuals pick on this list: in-chat pictures, short generated clips and scene features. The catch is tokens. Its subscriptions page (checked today) starts plans at $9.99 for the first month, renewing at $13.99, with quarterly ($26.97) and yearly ($47.88) options; unlimited text comes with just 100 tokens per month, and a clip can eat 12 to 20 of them. Kupid AI also isn't in Apple's US search and links a web manifest from its site. Is there an Ourdream AI app for iPhone?
No. Ourdream's help centre says there is no standalone app; on an iPhone you add ourdream.ai to the home screen from Safari's Share menu.
Is "Our Dream AI" on Google Play the official app?
In Google Play's US search today, nothing is published by Dream Studio USA, Inc. The listings with similar names come from other developers, carry ads and are rated for all ages.
Why isn't my Ourdream login code arriving?
Check spam and filters, make sure the address has no typo, and allow up to an hour, as Ourdream's help centre advises. Then ask support via "Request Help".
How do I cancel Ourdream on my phone?
Go to ourdream.ai/profile in the browser and choose "Cancel subscription". Your phone's App Store or Play Store settings won't list it.
